ECBD001 Series Single-Phase Electronic Energy Meter

Description

The ECBD001 DIN-rail mounted single-phase electronic energy meter is newly developed using advanced microelectronics technology, dedicated large-scale integrated circuits (LSI), digital sampling processing technology, and SMT manufacturing processes.

The meter fully complies with the IEC 62053-21 Class 1 standard for single-phase energy meters and is designed to accurately measure the active energy consumption of loads in single-phase two-wire AC power systems with a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

The meter features a 7-digit LCD display for active energy consumption and offers high reliability, compact size, lightweight structure, attractive appearance, and easy installation, making it suitable for a wide range of electrical measurement and monitoring applications.

Features

  • 35 mm DIN standard rail mounting compliant with DIN EN 50022, or front-panel mounting; users can select either installation method.
  • 7-digit LCD display, standard configuration 6+1 digits (999999.9 kWh), with optional 5+2 digit display format.

  • Standard passive energy pulse output (polarized); optional passive remote pulse output (non-polarized) for easy integration with various AMR systems, compliant with IEC 62053-31 and DIN 43864 standards.

  • Three LED indicators:

    • Green: Power status

    • Red: Energy pulse signal

    • Yellow: RS485 communication status

  • Standard configuration does not detect load current direction; optional automatic detection of load current direction with a dedicated LED indicator.

  • Unidirectional measurement of single-phase two-wire active energy consumption, independent of load current direction, compliant with IEC 62053-21.

  • Standard S-type wiring configuration (bottom input, top output) for direct connection; optional CT connection or PT & CT connection configurations.

  • Standard short terminal cover; optional extended terminal cover for enhanced electrical safety.

  • Equipped with RS485 communication interface for connection to RS485 networks, enabling remote meter reading and centralized management.

    • Standard communication protocol included

    • Optional communication protocols: MODBUS-RTU or DL/T645.
