ECBD003 Series DIN-rail Mounted Three-Phase Electronic Energy Meter

Description

The ECBD003 series DIN-rail mounted three-phase electronic energy meter is developed using advanced microelectronics technology, dedicated large-scale integrated circuits (LSI), digital sampling and processing technology, and SMT manufacturing processes.

The meter complies with the IEC 62053-21 Class 1 standard and accurately measures active energy consumption in three-phase AC networks with a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

It features a 7-digit LCD display for energy indication and offers high reliability, compact size, light weight, attractive design, and easy installation, making it suitable for a wide range of power monitoring and system integration applications.

Features

  • Installation options: Supports 35 mm DIN rail mounting in accordance with DIN EN 50022, or front-panel mounting. Both installation methods are available and can be selected according to application requirements.

  • Display: 7-digit LCD display, standard configuration 6+1 digits (999999.9 kWh), with optional 5+2 digit display format.

  • Energy pulse output: Standard passive energy pulse output (polarized). Optional passive remote pulse output (non-polarized) for convenient integration with various AMR systems, compliant with IEC 62053-31 and DIN 43864 standards.

  • Status indicators: Six LED indicators display operating status, including phase power status (yellow, green, red), energy pulse signal (white), and RS485 communication status (yellow COM indicator).

  • Load direction detection: Standard configuration includes automatic detection of load current direction, with a dedicated LED indicator.

  • Measurement function: Supports unidirectional measurement of three-phase active energy consumption, independent of load current direction, in compliance with IEC 62053-21.

  • Wiring configuration: Standard S-type wiring (bottom entry, top exit) for direct connection. Optional CT connection mode or PT & CT connection mode are available.

  • Terminal protection: Standard short terminal cover; optional extended terminal cover to improve electrical safety.

  • Communication: Equipped with an RS485 communication interface for remote meter reading and centralized management via RS485 networks. The standard communication protocol supports DL/T 645 or Modbus-RTU.
