ECBS004 Series Photoelectric Direct-Reading Remote Water Meter

Description

The ECBS004 series photoelectric direct-reading remote water meter is designed to measure and record the total volume of potable water flowing through municipal water pipelines. The measured water consumption is converted into digital signals and transmitted for remote data collection.

Through handheld data collectors or existing communication networks, the system enables remote meter reading, monitoring, and management, improving the efficiency and accuracy of water consumption management.

Features

• Dry-dial structure ensuring stable performance and clear long-term readability.
• Photoelectric encoded passive direct-reading technology for accurate and reliable data acquisition.
• Supports RS485 bus or M-BUS bus for data communication and system integration.
• Non-contact sensing technology, ensuring that measurement performance is not affected.
• Low-power design, requiring power only during data reading.
• Can be integrated with a central management system to enable remote meter reading and monitoring.
• High measurement accuracy, up to R200.
• Optional valve control function, allowing terminals to remotely open or close the valve to control water usage.

Installation Guidelines • Install the meter horizontally (vertical meters must be installed vertically), with the dial facing upward and the arrow aligned with the water flow direction.
• Flush the pipeline before installation to remove debris and prevent meter damage.
• Install in a dry location with convenient access for maintenance and replacement.
• Installation in a dedicated water meter box is recommended.
• Install valves before and after the meter to facilitate maintenance and system control.
