The ECBK002 Electromagnetic Thermal Energy Meter is an intelligent metering instrument composed of paired temperature sensors, a flow sensor, and a calculator. Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, it measures the flow rate of the medium (primarily water) and the temperature difference before and after heat exchange. The released energy of the heat exchange system is then calculated according to thermodynamic formulas.
It enables functions such as instantaneous flow measurement, supply and return medium temperature measurement, flow accumulation, cooling/heating energy accumulation, and historical data recording. The product is suitable for energy metering and billing in applications such as district heating, central air-conditioning systems, and combined heating and cooling supply systems.
• Real-time display of accumulated cooling energy, accumulated heating energy, accumulated flow, instantaneous flow, and supply/return water temperatures.
• Fault-tolerant design: reversed supply/return pipelines, reversed temperature sensors, or incorrect meter orientation can be corrected through keypad or software configuration without reinstalling the device.
• Power-off data retention: stores and allows query of historical report data for up to 18 months, including cooling and heating energy records.
• Real-time display of system status, including current time, date, and fault alarms.
• Based on Faraday’s electromagnetic induction principle, measurement is not affected by water quality and is resistant to scaling, ensuring stable performance and long service life.
• Supports multiple communication protocols, including Modbus, BACnet, and Bluetooth, enabling convenient data collection and system integration.
• Compatible with both two-wire and four-wire temperature sensors; four-wire sensors can be extended up to 100 meters.
